Heh, nothing better to do.
Yesterday, went to this italian restaurant called Prego.(Yes, the pasta sauce, Prego) with my mum and my aunt's family. The food was so-so for such a high-end place. the pizza was overloaded with salt and my Grilled Seabass was so tiny that i almost had to use the magnifying glass to locate it. in the end the bill came up to a whooping $244 dollars. not so whoop for a load of pretentious food. went back feeling immensely unsatisfied.
Today i went to this restaurant called Kopitiam( not the foodcourt) and it serves local singaporean food. and let me tell you, the prices are not so local. one cup of teh of kopi costs $5. No kidding. 2 pieces of goreng pisang cost $8 and chicken rice costs $17! my goodness. it was just another place to cheat foreigners of the money. nearly wanted to laugh out loud in disgust when i saw the menu.
Dang, tomoro got performance. wish us some luck cos boy, we so need it. Toodles.
